The MOOER Micro Preamp 003 Power-Zone is a compact digital preamp pedal designed to capture the massive gain, aggressive punch, and modern metal performance of the legendary Koch PowerTone amplifier. As part of MOOER’s acclaimed Micro Preamp Series, the Power-Zone delivers everything from crystal-clear cleans and tight rhythm crunch to crushing high-gain distortion, making it an excellent choice for hard rock, progressive metal, modern metal, and high-performance guitarists.

Built using MOOER’s advanced digital amplifier modeling technology, the Power-Zone faithfully recreates the powerful character, tight low-end response, and dynamic tube-like feel of the original amplifier while maintaining an ultra-compact pedalboard-friendly format. The pedal provides exceptional note definition, fast attack response, rich harmonics, and articulate high-gain performance suitable for both studio recording and live stage applications.

The pedal features two fully independent channels — Clean and Distortion. The clean channel delivers sparkling clarity and excellent headroom, while the gain channel produces powerful modern distortion with tight bass response, focused mids, and smooth sustain, making it ideal for heavy rhythm playing and expressive lead work.

Each channel includes independent Gain, Volume, Bass, Middle, and Treble controls, allowing detailed tone shaping and seamless switching between rhythm and lead sounds. The footswitch can operate in standard On/Off mode or Channel A/B mode, providing greater flexibility during rehearsals and live performances.

An integrated speaker cabinet simulation enables direct connection to recording interfaces, mixers, PA systems, FRFR speakers, and monitoring systems without requiring a traditional amplifier. The cabinet simulation can also be bypassed when used with conventional guitar amplifiers and speaker cabinets.
