The Universal Audio Apollo x8p Gen 2 STU is a professional rackmount Thunderbolt audio interface designed for high-channel-count recording, mixing, mastering, and studio production. It combines 8 Unison microphone preamps, high-resolution audio conversion, UAD DSP processing, and extensive analog and digital connectivity.

The eight Unison preamps make it suitable for recording drums, vocals, guitars, keyboards, bands, and multiple microphones simultaneously. Its flexible I/O also allows connection of external preamps, synthesizers, compressors, EQs, and other studio equipment.
