Active design
The built-in preamplifier reduces noise and eliminates string grounding. The pre-amp also boosts the tone and delivers clear, true steel-string guitar sound. The pickup requires 2 CR2032 batteries for operation.
Install with no modification
Simply drop this pickup into the soundhole of the guitar and gently tighten the mounting screws until it is firmly mounted to the top.
Wood case
The high-quality mahogany cap, electronics housed in birch, and lightweight design ensure maximum sensitivity and durability.
Neodymium magnets
HP-1A utilizes the power of neodymium magnets to provide a strong, balanced sonic experience.
Cable included
A 1/8" to 1/4" cable is included for easy connection to an amplifier or mixer.
