The Mapex CH72 is an adjustable-tension auxiliary hi-hat arm with heavy-duty felt cymbal pad.
Tight on space or simply looking for a creative double bass drum setup with hi-hat functionality? You can have it all with Mapex remote Hi-hat hardware. The Mapex CH72 Remote Hi-hat Arm comes with the upper tube assembly — with felts for both sides of the bottom hat, an adjustable thumb screw, and under-clutch rubber bushings to stabilize your upper hat. The second part of the assembly is the lower tube with ball-and-socket joint and tom arm, which inserts into the end of the upper tube for lockable positioning. Made of strong steel with a durable chrome finish, the CH72 Remote Hi-hat Arm lets you add fixed-hat sizzle to your double bass drum rig.
Extraordinary adjustability
Since you won't be playing the hats on this arm with a foot pedal, Mapex has engineered it with additional components that translate your playing to a fixed-hat application. The tensions on the top and bottom hat bushings and felts, respectively, are independently adjustable, letting you choose just the right amount of movement for each cymbal. You also get separate angle/tension adjustment for the bottom cymbal cup. Finally, the ball-and-socket tilter mechanism offers flexible angling, so you can position your hats right where you want them.
Mapex Ch72 Remote Hi-hat Arm Features:

- Ball-and-socket joint clamps securely at nearly any angle for custom positioning of hats
